  Pro Tech Communications rolls out Patented Gemini Multimedia Amplifier
 
 

FORT PIERCE, Fla.--Oct. 25, 2001--Pro Tech Communications, Inc. (OTCBB:PCTU), a provider of telemarketing services and proprietary products and services for call centers, today announced the rollout of the Gemini Multimedia Amplifier, a product that utilizes patented noise suppression and connective circuitry delivering the latest in circuit board technology.

The company has begun fulfilling customer orders and is now launching its sales and marketing activities for this amplifier, which is designed for simultaneous use of the telephone and multimedia applications.

``The Gemini is an exciting new product that we can offer to the web enabled call center where simultaneous use of the telephone and computer is often necessary,'' said Richard Hennessey, president. ``We have already received an excellent response to this product and we expect it to sell well in technologically-advanced call center environments.

This new desktop amplifier enables the use of a hands-free headset for both the telephone and computer, allowing access to multimedia functions such as computer training, VOIP (voice over internet protocol), and voice recognition programs.

The Gemini features a conference mode giving the ability to conference over the telephone and internet call simultaneously; a battery-off mode for non-battery operation when available; receive and transmit volume controls are mounted directly on top for easy access; a separate headset port for supervisor monitoring (eliminating the need for a separate training cord where applicable); a separate mute control (for supervisor intervention where applicable); a VOX background filter control that reduces distracting noise during the conversation; a PC on/off switch for multimedia functions; and a standard two-year warranty.
