Mobile Supervisor Maximizes Use Of Mobile Devices In The Call Center

TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA--(INTERNET WIRE)--Nov 20, 2001-- Trango Software Canada, the global center of competency for Siemens customer interaction management business, today announced wireless, real-time alerting capabilities with Mobile Supervisor for MessageStream version 3.1. Mobile Supervisor, using MessageStream 3.1 as the event-driven engine, provides more than just alerts, it empowers call center managers to stay in control wherever they are. Call center managers receive an alert on their mobile device such as a PDA, and then using Mobile Supervisor, drill down to view real-time statistics on the call center's performance. With this vital information, call center managers can address performance issues and make immediate staffing changes directly from Mobile Supervisor, utilizing its real-time interaction with HiPath ProCenter. An Alpha version of MessageStream 3.1 with Mobile Supervisor for HiPath ProCenter was successfully demonstrated at two of the largest technology tradeshows in the world. These shows included, the International Call Center Management (ICCM) tradeshow held in Chicago, Illinois during July 2001, and Systems 2001, held in Munich, Germany during October 2001. As a result of the overwhelming response received at both shows, Trango will demonstrate MessageStream's Mobile Supervisor for HiPath ProCenter in the Siemens pavilion at Planet PDA, held in Las Vegas, Nevada, December 4-6, 2001. Mobile Supervisor will be available in the next release of MessageStream, version 3.1, which will be available in the first quarter of 2002.
